Congratulations to beautiful bride
Kristin Hibner and her charming and handsome groom Tonbara Ekpete on the
occasion of their wedding - which was followed by a stunning reception in the
Grand Hall at Texas Discovery Gardens. Held over the Memorial Day Holiday
weekend, this was one of the most beautiful we have helped produce in
2014. With a vibrant color scheme of fuschia and tangerine, the reception "popped" all night long. With a start time of 5 pm, arriving guests were treated to a cornucopia of color from the vibrant linens chosen by the couple with the assistance of noted Wedding Planner Kay Watson. The newlyweds enjoyed their first dance set against a daylight backdrop of Texas Discovery Gardens. As the evening continued and daylight faded, the colors transformed and deepened... with a special surprise planned for guests midway through the evening. Dallas Light and Sound changed the uplightng color in the room from a brilliant fuschia to a deep tangerine, completely transforming the visual palette for the space.
Services provided for this reception included eco friendly, color changing LED uplighting, dancefloor lighting, projection of the names of the bride and groom, cake lighting and head table lighting for toasts and speeches, and provision of a flatscreen in the "children's room" to entertain young guests.
The names projection included four different designs, and was comprised of the signature font of the wedding invitation, in a custom design by Dallas Light and Sound Event Manager Neale Jones. Examples of all four looks can be seen in the gallery below.
