No Tie Dinner welcomes Dallas Light and Sound as their production partner for the 2012 event. |
Come join hundreds of ASD supporters and Dallas Light and Sound for a night of dancing, desserts, and drinks during the No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party benefiting AIDS Services of Dallas! Set for Saturday, March 24, 2012 the hi-energy Dessert Party portion of the evening begins at 8 p.m. at the Frontiers of Flight Museum - 6911 Lemmon Ave, Dallas, TX. Tickets are $50.00 and are available at the door.
Each spring, generous, fun people host social gatherings – from backyard barbecues for 10 to formal dinners for 30 – at their homes or in restaurants. The dinners are casual or formal, large or small, gourmet to potluck. In return for their host’s hospitality, guests are asked to make a minimum donation of $50 to ASD. All dinner proceeds go toward housing and supportive services for ASD clients. After dinner, all dinner hosts and guests are invited to a dessert celebration with entertainment, dancing, coffee and delightful desserts donated by some of Dallas’s finest caterers and restaurants.
Guests are invited to bid in the silent auction which has wonderful items ranging from gift certificates, original art to fine jewelry. A live auction is also held, which in the past has included trips to resort areas and designer jewelry.
In 2012, Dallas Light and Sound will provide Audio, Video, Lighting and Event Décor for this major Dallas fundraiser.
To host a party prior to dessert, you, your friends, co-workers, neighbors, sports teams, church groups, can contact ASD for additional information. ASD will provide you with timelines, contact information, invitation information (ASD will send invitations to your guests) and tips for party hosts.
