Dallas Light and Sound returns in 2013 for our fifth year of providing comprehensive event production and design services for this fantastic night of style.

In prior years the show has featured many of Dallas’ best and brightest designers. Featured designers have included Shirin Askari, Abi Ferrin, Khanh Nguyen, The House of Dang and Nicholas Villalba. This year’s Fashion Cited is scheduled for March 28, 2013 and promises to be the biggest and best yet! Wedding Cakes Taste Better with Lighting from Dallas Light and Sound

Cake By Sugar City Sweets
and Celebrations
Lighting by Dallas Light and Sound
Shown in the photo at left, a stunning wedding cake by Sugar City Sweets and Celebrations in a photo taken at the Texas Discovery Gardens Bridal Fair and Open House... with cake lighting by Dallas Light and Sound.

Using pin spots, mounted to a truss tower and discretely positioned against one of two columns in the facility, this stunning creation anchored one of the corners of the TDG Grand Hall.

Dallas Light and Sound designer Craig Canant is an expert at lighting bridal and groom cakes, food tables, and tablescapes. Craig reports that he is frequently asked by brides, "Do I really need cake lighting at my wedding?" The answer is always an unequivocal YES.

When posing for photos, proper lighting makes the photos come alive and adds warmth and depth to the images. The cakes look tastier, and the bride and groom acquire and aura of warmth from the lighting. When cakes are positioned for viewing during the reception and prior to cutting, lighting draws the sophisticated eye to the cake. In fact, bride and groom cakes can become one of the visual focal points of the reception room, even in a venue as large as Texas Discovery Gardens.

Don't let your cake get lost at your reception! Instead, bring attention to the beauty of your investment with cake lighting from Dallas Light and Sound.
