Two Stages at Razzle Dazzle Dallas Provide Diverse Entertainment in Main Street Garden

Razzle Dazzle Dallas took over Downtown Dallas's Main Street Garden Park for a rousing celebration and festival of entertainment on Saturday, June 8th - and Dallas Light and Sound was there with audio, lighting, staging and flatscreens for sponsor recognition.

With two stages for entertainment, one located on each side of the park, the Razzle Dazzle committee event producers provided two showcases for their cavalcade of diverse entertainment for event attendees. Featuring three sets in a festival spanning performance by "The Bright" on the Bud Light Main Stage, the evening also included The Women's Chorus and The Turtle Creek Chorale on the community stage. A  hi-nrg performance from the Rose Room Girls, a flash mob photo event directed by emcee Patti Le Plaesafe, soloists, a country duet, a comic, and a DJ at the Red Bull DJ pavilion meant the evening was chock full of ever-changing entertainment.

On The Bud Light Main Stage, Dallas Light and Sound provided large format audio and a custom lighting design and installation that captivated the crowd. With color changing LED Panels and an array of LED and conventional Par cans, intelligent lighting on truss, and ample fog... the lighting for this performance stage enhanced the energy present on the stage. Audio on the main stage was anchored by a 24 channel Behringer mixing board with dual on-board vocal effects, an amplifier array, and major speaker arrays flanking the stage.

Meanwhile on the Community Stage on the opposite end of Main Street Garden, showstopping performances included the Rose Room Girls and the Turtle Creek Chorale. Members of The Chorale entertained the crowd with their voices captured by an array of Audio Technica condenser mics, allowing the group to perform with crowding around traditional hand-held mics. Lighting for the Community Stage came from two truss towers, strategically positioned to flank the stage and cross light the performance area.

The old Statler Hotel and numerous other buildings provided a beautiful backdrop for the night. The Statler also served as a surface for gobo projections that appeared as the highlight of a media photography event, shown below. With the Red Bull Pagoda anchoring the center of the park space, and a VIP Lounge sponsored by Kru vodka, event attendees had plenty of focal points to fill the 5+ hours of Razzle Dazzle.
