AOC Evening of Hope Sells Out at River Crest Country Club in Ft. Worth

The stage is set for AOC Evening of Hope 2014
at River Crest Country Club
A sold out crowd of the most beautiful people in Ft. Worth packed the River Crest Country Club on Saturday, June 31 to attend an Evening of Hope – benefitting AIDS Outreach Center. The annual gala event is the largest fund-raising dinner for HIV/AIDS in Fort Worth and benefits the programs and services of AIDS Outreach Center.

Each year, hundreds of AOC’s most dedicated donors and supporters come together to celebrate the organization's recent achievements and honor those who have made a substantial impact locally in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

AOC Evening of Hope Gala

….. and Dallas Light and Sound was there to provide for a second year turn-key production services for the evening. Our work included designing the main event space, providing audio and video projection during the event, lighting the runway and stage, creating a unique, custom stage design, uplighting the main dining room, and supplying all of the trussing and other equipment necessary to create a stunning production.

In collaboration with Fashion Scoop Daily and event organizers, elements of the stage design and some of the seating placed in the event space and an adjacent event tent were provided courtesy of Designer Timothy Oulton. The mirror and chandelier in the set design pictured in this article are both Timothy Oulton pieces.

The fashions of featured designer Geoffrey Henning looked fabulous under a Dallas Light and Sound lighting design by Craig Canant with set and stage design by Neale Jones. Henning is both a noted fashion designer and serves as the style authority at JCPenney as the Divisional Vice President of Design for the department store chain.

Vocalist Alison Stanford delivered a lively performance which included Katy Perry's "Firework" over a Dallas Light and Sound wireless audio system to close the entertainment portion of the evening.
