Sue and Frank Tortoriello, Honorary Co-Chairs, and the MADI
Board invite you to join them at the 5TH ANNUAL GEOMETRIC GALA on Friday,
October 12, 2012 from 7 - 10 pm at 145 Manufacturing Street in the Design
District. The evening will include the
award-winning Texas Gypsies with wine and hors d'oevres provided by Doug Boster
Gourmet Catering and MADItinis courtesy of Dripping Springs Vodka. A silent
auction of luxury items and original art by local and international artists
helps support the museum’s exhibits and programming. Dallas Light and Sound is transforming what is essentially a vacant showroom into a tastefully lit event venue.
Gala
tickets are $80 per person and $90 at the door. Again this year, Dallas’ own
geometric artist, Ricardo Paniagua has donated one of his fabulous sculptures
for our raffle. Tickets for the raffle are $20 for one or $100 for six and you
need not attend the Gala to win.
This is a landmark
year for the Museum of Geometric & MADI Art, as they are celebrating their 10th
Anniversary. Over the last decade, the
Museum of Geometric & MADI Art has worked diligently to bring this
contemporary and unique genre of art to the Dallas art community. With the help of their board and loyal members,
the 2013 Geometric Gala, to be held on October 11, 2013, promises to be our
biggest and best! The Geometric Gala 2013 will go down in the history books for
the Museum of Geometric & MADI Art as they boldly chart new waters. This event represents milestone for the organization. Continued growth coupled with previous gala successes, have necessitated a move of their annual Gala from the MADI to larger event space, in order to accommodate our passionate patrons! This year the Geometric Gala will be held at 145 Manufacturing Street in the Design District, just a hop, skip and a jump from MADI's proposed future new site!
Valet parking will be provided by Preferred Parking DFW.
