Patrons enjoyed a sensational evening on Saturday, May 4th at the AOC Evening of Hope Gala in Ft. Worth. With an awards presentation, followed by a fashion show, speeches by clients and supporters, and total production services provided by Dallas Light and Sound .... the evening at Colonial Country Club was both beautiful and inspirational.
AIDS Outreach Center is the leading organization in Tarrant and seven
surrounding rural counties serving men, women and children with HIV and their
families, educating the public about HIV prevention and advocating for sound HIV
public policy.
One of the highlights of the evening was a fashion show featuring the designs of Edgar Gomez. Edgar Gomez describes himself as a
person who is passionate about life, and making the most of it. His dream started
twenty-one years ago in his home country of Venezuela. He has always been a
strong person following his dreams no matter what obstacles would stand in his
way. He developed an interest for the
fine arts, music and dance and fashion design at an early age. Four years ago
Edgar moved to America and it is here that he realized fashion design was his
true calling. Edgar is a dreamer,
always transforming fantasy into reality. He uses his design as a chance to
transform his imagination into beautiful creations for women to feel gorgeous
and confident.
