World AIDS Day Dallas 2012 Observed at Main Street Garden

The stage at Main Street Garden is a permanent, elevated park area
that is perfect for performances and speeches.
The size of the stage, and more importantly the size of the park
requires monumental audio.
World AIDS Day Dallas, held at Main Street Park in Downtown Dallas, saw more than 30 ASO's come together in remembrance and celebration. Featuring live performances by ASG, Shelly Torres West, DeDee Heart, Angel Velasco, Denise Lee and Gary Floyd, Dallas Light and Sound is proud to have supplied audio services and equipment for the event.
A panel from the NAMES Project
AIDS Memorial Quilt in procession into the park.

An appearance of seven panels from the Names Project AIDS Quilt provided a focal point for remembrance while speeches from Dallas County Health and Human Services Director Zachary Thompson, Ms. Plus America Michelle Anderson, Otis Harris, Jr., and AIN Executive Director Steven Pace provided inspiration for the future.
